Ferrari has just unveiled its latest one-off model —-the F12 TRS at Ferrari Cavalcade an annual driving tour around Italy exclusive for its clients. It’s inspired by the 1957 250 Testa Rossa which was developed “at a client’s request as an extreme, two-seater, open-top sports barchetta.”

The new supercar is based from F12 Berlinetta, which is tailored for a different front end that features a display window to showcase the red cylinder heads of the V12 engine and a dark panoramic glass band that makes a great contrast from its iconic red body with a specially developed paint. On its back, long fuselage fairings run behind the headrests and into the rear spoiler. From the front a smooth ramp tunnels from interior to exterior creating a longitudinal aerodynamic channel to deliver a venturi effect through a vent under the spoiler.

Running with same V12 engine as the F12 Berlinetta’s, the F12 TRS has the same performance figures, including a 0-to-100kph acceleration time of 3.1 seconds with 200kph achieved in 8.1 seconds.

In the end, the interior have been minimized, while the glove compartment, central air vents, mats, audio system, and window controls have all been removed. The finish of black-matte carbon fiber, leather and Alcantara have been a norm for Ferraris.
