ASEAN NCAP: Latest Crash-Test Results[Video]

The ASEAN NCAP(New Car Assessment Program) has just revealed its latest crash-test results. There are 11 new cars undergone the standard offset front collision testing at 64kph and new 50kph mobile side collision.

Here are the 9 new cars listed for the latest NCAP crash-test results.

  1. Honda CR-V
  2. Toyota Corolla Altis
  3. Chevrolet Colorado
  4. Volkswagen Polo
  5. Kia Picanto
  6. Chevrolet Sonic
  7. Isuzu D-Max
  8. Proton Preve
  9. Peugeot 208

The Honda CR-V and the 2.0-liter Toyota Corolla Altis tops the crash-test results with both garnering maximum 5-star rating for Adult Occupant Protection(AOP) and 4-star Child Occupant Protection(COP) rating.

The Chevy Colorado listed 5-star AOP rating and 3-star for COP. 4-star ratings for both AOP and COP are registered by 1.8-liter Toyota Corolla Altis, Isuzu D-Max, Kia Picanto, Volkswagen Polo, and Chevy Sonic. Apparently, the no-airbag Kia Picanto failed in the test for AOP and only got a 1-star rating for COP.
