2013 Ford Taurus gets EPA rated 32mpg highway

The EPA has just released its efficiency rating for the 2013 Ford Taurus 2.0-liter EcoBoost which interestingly the 4-cylinder version grabbed a 32mpg highway or 26mpg combined certification.

“Ford understands people want fuel-efficient vehicles but don’t want to sacrifice power, cargo space or convenience preferences to get them,” according to Raj Nair, VP of Engineering for Global Product Development. “Taurus fuel economy showcases Ford’s success in developing smaller yet more powerful engines for its larger vehicles.”

Notably, Ford Taurus’ fuel-efficiency rating have surpassed the ratings of same large sedan available in the market. Such, Nissan Maxima, 2012 Chrysler 300, Chevrolet Impala, Dodge Charger and the Toyota Avalon in terms of fuel-efficiency.
