Abarth and Ferrari; two world renown sports car makers have joined forces in creating a small but agile luxury sports car by the name of Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari based from the Abarth 500 model.

As it celebrates its debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, Abarth will also be celebrating its debut in the world of small luxury sports car, answering the growing trend from micro chic cars as well as the demand for luxury cars good for everyday use.

The new Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari is powered by a 1.4L Turbo T-Jet 16v engine delivering over 180 hp. The engine is  mated to Abarth Competezione 5-speed manual gearbox with gearshift incorporated on the steering wheel. The Record Monza exhaust with dual mode function, heightens the performance and the distinctive sound of the engine at rev speeds above 3000 rpm.

The new Abarth 695 rides lower on a set of 17-inch Ferrari inspired allow wheels. Along with the wheels is the upgraded Brembo braking system with 284 mm multi-section discs with four-position fixed calipers.

With designs inspired by the world of competition, the new Abarth 695 presents itself in four different colors; Corse Red, Abu Dhabi Blue, Modena Yellow and Titanio Grey, with carbon fiber wing mirrors. This is complimented by the sporty yet elegant interior featuring; Abarth Corsa seats in black leather with the shell and base in carbon fiber; black leather steering wheel with red leather inserts; Ferrari inspired instrument panel; racing pedals customized with the Scorpion logo; and a plate bearing the vehicle’s serial number
