“From this car forward, Lexus will never be the same”, said Lexus as they unleashed the new 2013 Lexus GS 350 which undergone 1,000,000 miles of testing to provide superior performance and handling.

In pursuit of providing superior performance and handling, Lexus engineers has widened the track of the new GS 350 by almost two inches and improved body rigidity by 14%. They also incorporated the GS 350 with all-new front and rear suspensions and reduced the unsprung weight through the use of aluminum components and larger bushings.

The new 2013 Lexus GS 350 is powered by a 3.5L V6 engine capable of making 306-hp at 6,400 rpm and a maximum torque of 277 lb-ft at 4,800 rpm. Mated to a 6-speed sequential-shift transmission, the all-wheel-drive Lexus GS 350 sprints from 0-60 mph in 5.7 seconds with a top speed of 142 mph. The Lexus GS also comes with the Lexus Drive Mode selector which offers four driving modes including ECO, Normal, Sport S and available Sport S+ allowing for 28 mpg fuel consumption highway.

Inside, it features distinctive contrast stitching applied on the center console, door panels, and shift knob along the entire length of the dash. This is complemented with exclusive wood accents blending timeless design with innovative technology.

The new GS 350 also features the 18-way heated and ventilated front seats which at the push of a button offer 18 different types of customization, including shoulder support, butterfly headrests and variable seat-cushion length. The seats are available in F SPORT, Premium and Luxury versions of the GS. But for those at the back-seat, the Luxury GS offers rear-seat controls for the audio system and the rear-seat climate zone.

For the extra baggage, the GS and GS F SPORT offer a wider, flatter storage area by changing the design of the trunk. Both can hold four golf bags and four sport bags and feature additional storage under the side mat for convenient access to small items, even when the trunk is filled.

The new Lexus GS 350 is also packed with bunch of technologies including the industry’s first available 12.3-inch high-resolution split-screen multimedia display; Lexus Enform – 24-hour navigation assistance; Bluetooth connectivity; Heads-up Display; Intuitive Park Assist; Mark Levinson Audio system; and a backup camera.

Prices for the 2013 Lexus GS 350 start at $46,900 MSRP.
