2013 BMW X3

The Bavarian company has just released bunch of exciting details about its new 2013 BMW X3. With prices starting at $37,995, the new xDrive28i comes with BMW’s new engine while at $43,595; the new xDrive35i comes with bunch of new technology and standard equipment.

The 2013 BMW X3 xDrive28i will be replacing its 6-cylinder engine with BMW’s new 2.0L TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder (N20) engine capable of making 240 hp at 5,000 rpm with a peak torque of 260 lb-ft between 1,250 rpm to 4,800 rpm. The xDrive28i can sprints from 0-60 mph in just 6.5 seconds with its top speed electronically limited at 130 mph.

Aside from the new engine, the 2013 BMW X3 xDrive28i also get new technology including Lane Departure Warning; an M Sport Package with 19-inch wheels; new standard equipment includes Auto Start Stop, and Driving Dynamics Control with ECO PRO and the Power Tailgate.  Also new to the xDrive28i is the 18” wheels, and chrome tailpipes tips which are previously standard only on the X3 xDrive35i.

While the 2013 BMW X3 xDrive35i retains its 3.0L 6-clyinder engine with TwinPower Turbo technology making 300 hp at 5,800 rpm and a peak torque of 300 lb-ft between 1,200 and 5,000 rpm. Like the xDrive28i, it also comes with Lane Departure Warning system, M Sport Package with 19-inch wheels; standard equipment with Auto Start Stop, and Driving Dynamics Control with ECO PRO and the Power Tailgate.
