Audi TT RS Plus

Audi has released the new 2013 Audi TT RS Plus, and as its name suggests it gets additional power, speed and more aggressive look compare to its predecessor.

Power for the 2013 Audi TT RS Plus comes from a 2.5L 5-cylinder turbo engine making 360 hp (20 hp increase) and a peak torque of 343 lb-ft. The power is managed by a 6-speed manual transmission or by a 7-speed S tronic automatic. Audi TT RS Plus sprints from 0-62 mph in 4.1 seconds with the S tronic while 4.4 seconds with the manual. The top speed for both Coupe and Roadster is electronically limited to 174 mph.

The increase in the speed and power is complemented by the stopping power provided by the 4-piston fixed calipers with perforated brake disks on the front axle.

To make it more unique than its predecessor, Audi adds a bunch of visual upgrades to the Audi TT RS Plus. The upgrades include a Singleframe radiator grille, diamond-pattern mesh is in highly polished anthracite, a frame with a matt aluminum-look finish, housings of the exterior mirrors made of carbon fiber, dual-branch sport exhaust system with black oval tailpipe trims, sound flap that beefs up the sound of the engine, 19-inch cast wheels wrapped in 255/35 tires and a large rear wing.

The new 2013 Audi TT RS Plus will go on sales in German later this year with prices for the manual Coupe starts with 80,579 USD or 83,436 USD with the seven-speed S tronic. While for the Roadster, price starts with 84,366 USD or 87,222 USD respectively.
