2011 MANSORY Audi R8 Spyder

Mansory Design & Holding GmbH has released its latest interpretation of the Audi R8 Spyder bearing Mansory’s exclusive and extensive tuning kit which further makes the Spyder more aggressive on both appearance and performance.

For the visual refinement, the Audi R8 Spyder receives a significant amount of effort from the Mansory engineers. Mansory installed a lot of new design elements made of carbon such as the new front grill and the lamella bonnets. It also receives a new front spoiler for improved handling and agility; new side skirts for better air flow; a rear spoiler for more contact pressure; a new rear apron and the perfectly integrated diffuser. The Mansory aerodynamics provides pure driving pleasure specially on main roads with curvy sections.

Of course the improved aerodynamics is accompanied by an improved performance. For the engine, Mansory installed a new sport air filter and a sport exhaust system which bumps the output of the 5.2L FSI V10 engine of the Spyder to 552hp at 800 rpm and a maximum torque of 550Nm at 6,500 rpm.

The new Audi R8 Spyder rides on a set of distinctive Mansory lightweight forged alloy wheels with sizes 8.5Jx20 at the front and 11.0Jx20 at the rear wrapped in 245/30ZR20 and 305/25ZR20 tires respectively. With these lightweight wheels both handling, acceleration as well as braking response improves. Mansory also coupled these wheels with sport springs for the lower suspension setting of the car.

Mansory also offered an extensive interior program which ranges from personalized doormats to perfectly worked leather upholstery with MANSORY couture and carbon applications. Available also are the illuminated door entry strips and pedals and footrests made of aluminum.

Mansory Design & Holding GmbH offers only its in-house developed tuning accessories. The company does not offer its own make as “complete” vehicle, neither does the company deal with such type of vehicles.
