Here are live images of the Mercedes-Benz Concept A which has celebrated its debut at the 2011 New York Auto Show.
Mercedes-Benz Concept A is a front-wheel drive compact car taking its exterior design from the F 800 Style. It features a new turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine, a dual clutch transmission and a radar-based collision warning system with adaptive Brake Assist. Its power comes from a transversely mounted 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged, direct-injected engine making 210-hp with a maximum torque of 229 lb-ft.
The production model will arrive sometime next year and will compete with the likes of the BMW 1-Series and the Audi A3.
