Good news for 2011 Scion tC fanatics, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has awarded Scion tC a top overall rating of 5 stars for crash and rollover safety.

What makes Scion tC a very safety vehicle is the bunch of safety features installed to it. This includes an Anti-lock Brakes and Electronic Brake-force Distribution, Brake Assist, Traction Control, Vehicle Stability Control, Smart Stop, a tire pressure monitoring system and newly adopted active front headrests. Furthermore it comes with a total of 8 supplemental restraint system (SRS) airbags including driver and front passenger airbags, seat-mounted side airbags, driver and front-passenger knee airbag, and side curtain airbags.

The 2011 Scion tC is powered by an all-new 2.5L inline 4-cylinder engine with dual VVT-i making 180-hp mated with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic with sequential-shift. Prices start at $18,995.
