Another recall from Toyota, this time Toyota is recalling 1,489 units of the FJ Cruiser and Tundra which were detected to have improperly calibrated tire pressure monitoring system.

According to the investigation, the tire warning lamp may not light-up whenever pressure in any of the tires falls down below the preset limit. NHTSA said that driving with under-inflated tires increases the risk of tire failure and could lead to a accident.

The recall covers 2011 FJ Cruiser models and 2009-2011 Tundra models. Owners can call Toyota at 800-444-1074 or NHTSA’s safety hotline at 888-327-4236 for more info.
