What if you could charge your electric car without the hassle of going out of the car and plug it to a charging station, isn’t that convenient? That’s what the new recharging technology from Evatran promises, say hello to Plugless Power, the world’s first hands-free proximity recharging system for electric vehicles.

“why charge tomorrow’s vehicles with yesterday’s technology”, this Plugless Power system is based on the inductive technology that has been used in electrical transformers for more than a century. No need for cord and plug, the car will charge through induction.

The Plugless Power charging station is first tried with Google’s electric-vehicles at its Mountain View, California headquarters.

“The interest shown by Google and the cooperation we’ve received to retrofit their EV provides evidence that a simple, convenient charging process is needed for the widespread adoption of electric vehicles.” said Tom Hough, co-founder and CEO of Plugless Power.
