Smart Forspeed Concept

Aggressive, that’s the term to describe Smart‘s newest concept design, the Smart Forspeed Concept which was revealed at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show.

Smart Forspeed Concept will be powered by a rear-mounted electric-motor capable of producing 41 hp. It can run from 0 to 37 mph in 5.5 seconds with a top speed of 75 mph. It has an over-boost function that allows it to add up 7 extra hp by just pressing a button. Forspeed concept can travel up to 84 miles with single charge.

Smart Forspeed Concept is filled with remarkable designs including the solar cells integrated wind deflectors which serve as the windshield. The honeycomb grille at the front which gives it a more unique appeal. Another thing that makes it unique is the binnacles in front of both seats which mimic the binnacles found on actual speedboats. The passenger seat also gets its own unique iPhone dock with a two-tone white and lime green finish rounding up the Forspeed’s attractive maritime-inspired interior.

For now, Smart Forspeed is still a concept all we can do is wait when will it be in reality.
