“The way of the Sword”, that’s the way how Mazda introduces their new special edition car, the Mazda MX-5 Kendo Special Edition at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show.

Based on the ‘SE’ derivatives, Mazda MX-5 Kendo Special Edition presents itself in a Sparkling Black or Dolphin Grey mica paint finish. Inside it offers a Stone Leather interior which features a Stone colored stitching on the steering wheel, gear knob and handbrake. It also gets a set of 17-inch alloy wheels, exterior badging and floor mats, front fog lamps, heated seats, brushed aluminum style-bar trim and aluminum pedals. Along with these are some cool stuffs including a BOSE audio system and Bluetooth connectivity.

Mazda MX-5 Kendo Soft-Top is powered by 125-hp 1.8L engine, while the MX-5 Kendo Coupe is from a 160-hp 2.0L engine.

Mark Cameron, the Sales Director for Mazda UK is expecting that these two new models which go on sale last March 1, 2011 will trigger a strong wave of fresh interest for UK consumers.
