Mercedes-Benz has released the has released some new photos of its bi-turbo V8 version sedan, the 2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG.
The new 2012 CLS 63 is powered by AMG’s new M157 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged V8 making 518 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque on its standard form. But with AMG Performance Package, its output increased to 550 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque.  Mated to AMG’s seven-gear “Speedshift” MCT automatic transmission, it takes an estimated 4.4 seconds run from 0-60 mph  in standard form while it takes 4.3 seconds with the AMG package. The top speed also increases from 155 to 186 mph with the AMG upgrade. Both variants have a fuel economy of 16 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway.
Furthermore, CLS 63 front axle has been widened by nearly an inch and AMG fitted its independent adaptive suspension with electronic damping and a three-stage traction control system. CLS 63 gets a set of 19-inch, five-spoke wheels are wrapped in 255/35 tires in front and 285/30s in rear.
