2012 Maserati GranCabrio Sport

The Italian luxury car maker, Maserati will unleash their new 2012 Maserati GranCabrio Sport at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show with greater horsepower, better suspension and efficient sorting reaction.

The 2012 Maserati GranCabrio Sport is powered by an all-alloy version of 4.7-liter V8 engine capable of producing 450 hp with a maximum torque of 376.2 lb-ft. It is more powerful than the GranTurismo Sport which is only powered by a 434-hp 4.7L V8 engine. Mated to a ZF 6-speed automatic transmission, it can reach a top speed of 177 mph.

Maserati engineers equipped the GranCabrio Sport with  an MC Auto Shift software from the Quattroporte Sport GT S, which offers faster switching reactions. And for better suspension they added an adaptive suspension system known as the Skyhooks.

For the exterior, GranCabrio Sport got its nose a distinctive black grille, smoked headlights and white side brand new redesigned front corner splitters and side skirts.

The Maserati GranCabrio Sport will be available on its sixty two markets in summer 2011. It will be known as the Maserati GranTurismo Sport Convertible in the United States.
