2011 Chrysler 200 Super S

During the 2011 Detroit Auto Show, Chrysler displayed a sportier Mopar-ized version of its new Chrysler 200 called the Chrysler 200 Super S.

Chrysler is trying a new strategy of attracting more youth buyers by adding new styling upgrades rather than engine upgrades and in doing that they got the help from Mopar.

Mopar (short for Motor Parts) is the automobile parts and service arm of Chrysler Group LLC. Mopar upgraded the looks of Chrysler 200 by lowering it by three inches and by adding number of accessories including a gloss black mesh grille, lower chin spoiler, vented hood, 19-inch wheels, deck-lid spoiler, rear valance and two-tone paint.

Chrysler 200 Super S is a sportier version so you may think that ‘S’ stands for sport, but apparently as mentioned earlier, Chrysler goes for the design on this unit; S stands for ‘style’.

Being the first Chrysler to get the ‘S’ treatment, Chrysler 200 Super S is expected to attract more younger buyers and boosts the sales when it arrive on spring.
