The 2012 Ford Shelby GT 500 is powered by an aluminum-block 5.4L supercharged V8 kicking 550-hp and 510 lb-ft torque. This mainly minor improvements on power to weight ratio, fuel-economy, acceleration, handling and precision steering of the new version that is confirmed to be priced at $49,495 with the convertible version to start at $54,495. Interestingly, that’s $1,000 over the 2011 model.

There’s also an optional add-ons offering leather-trimmed Recaro front bucket streets with accent stripes will run you $1,595, a Navigation and automatic climate control will cost $2,340, while a glass roof can be your from an additional $1,995. The SVT Performance Package can be added for $3,995.
