2012 Audi A7 Papercraft

To show how serious they are in reducing the weight of their cars to increase fuel-economy and lower fuel-emissions, Audi has released a video featuring the construction of the 2012 Audi A7 replica created completely out of papers.

Taras Lesko, the artist hired to make the replica took 285 pieces of paper, 750 parts and 245 hours to complete the 2012 Audi A7 Papercraft.

Power for the 2012 Audi A7 comes from a 3.0L TFSI Supercharged V6 engine making 310 hp at 5,500-6,500 rpm and 325 lb-ft of torque at 2,900-4,500 rpm. Mated to an 8-speed Triptronic automatic transmission, it can sprints from 0-60 mph in 5.4 seconds with a top speed of 130 mph (electronically limited). Prices for the 2012 Audi A7 start at $59,250.
