GeigerCars.de, a US car specialist from Munich has unleashed a more aggressive version of the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, meet the new Ford Mustang Shelby GT640 “Golden Snake”.

GeirgerCars.de wouldn’t name it that way for no reason, the ‘640‘ stands for the new power the Mustang Shelby can deliver. With the help of the 2.3 liter compressor and stainless steel sport exhaust system, the 5.4L V8 engine is now capable of supplying an astonishing 640 PS (631 hp) of power to the rear wheels with maximum torque of 789 Nm (581.86 lb-ft). These allows Mustang Shelby GT640 to reach a speed of 100 km/h(62 mph)  in just 3.7 seconds with a top speed of 295 km/h (183.3 mph).

The Mustang Shelby GT640 also features an aluminum engine block that significantly reduces the weight on the front axle thus improving its road handling ability. In addition to this is the carbon engine bonnet which further improves its efficiency through the intake air passage that channels the airflow to the combustion chambers.

The “Golden Snake” on its name is apparently based from its dead gold paint finish which lights up fascinatingly especially when the sun is low in the sky. It rides on a set of mat black Geiger rims with sizes 8.5×20 inch front and 10×20 inch rear wrapped in Michelin Pilot sports tires with sizes 255/35ZR20 and 285/30ZR20.

The demo vehicle is for sale for 89,000 euros.
